Winnie the iPooh

I still remember those golden years of my childhood, playing with barbie dolls, ninja turtles and little toy cars (of course my brother wasn't happy about this at all), watching on T.V. violent cartoons such the Road Runner and Willy E. Coyote and the never ending creepy blue Smurfs (although I did watch other crazy cartoons) anyways I still can clearly remember the first day the NES (for those not so gamer geeks NES stands for "Nintendo Entertainment System") arrived home... Oh, that day... I call it "The day my childhood changed". My brother and I become quickly addicted to it, my dad was so surprised, he though we weren't able to understand that new piece of technology, oh but we were... TOTALLY... we were the kids of a new age... a new era!
I bring this up cause of my son, he has born in the "touch" era, or at least is how I call it, for him, every screen or monitor is naturally a touch screen and he gets really surprised when he tries to drag something from the screen of my MAC and doesn't work...
If I'm not mistaken, he started using my iPhone when he was about 8 months old, he learned how to unlock the phone even before started walking, I wouldn't be surprised if his first word was iPhone rather than mom hahaha.
The iPad is one of his favorite gadgets, is funny cause he has a very good understanding of these basics things:
"Play"  means the game will start
"Close" means the window or pop up will disappear
"X" means pretty much the same as close
"Go" means, well, pretty much the same as Play... and etc.

So, what's going on with these new kids? the "wireless" kids, I'm teaching my son to draw with crayons and believe me, he rather draw in the iPad, of course is easy to erase and is a never ending source of white space to mess up with the colors...but I still believe in the "classic" way.
Sometimes I wonder what is gonna happen next, he already has his iPod (no kidding) he actually order some kind of points or coins stuff the other day while I was here onboard!!! (yes now I disabled the paypal thing on my iTunes account ehehe) he is soon gonna turn 3, his favorite cartoons characters are Spiderman, Toy Story and, guess it, Star Wars (of course I taught him this!) he likes trains and car crashing (hahaha me too!) he is adorable but I'm pretty sure he is gonna be a lil smart ass and I guess I will have to keep close attention to my credit cards and paypal accounts eventually, cause if once I was a hacker, pretty sure he has the gene somewhere.

Sigh, I like the "classic" stuff, is not bad at all, such going out to a playground, throw some rocks on a near lake,  play around with other kids of his age... but of course I'm so freak out of the idea of let him socialized, of course I don't want  no other kid to hurt him, but I have to give him his space... oh dear! so many things! Being a geek mom, well being a mom in general is a continuously adventure and amazing journey.
Oh my adorable little monster.
