Chemistry lesson

As soon as daylight enters, my pupils and the reflectors send electron impulses through my axons just to realize you are not here, I miss you; as every axon sends a protein spark through the dendrites orchestrated to relay one message, she is not holding you, I realize how much I need you. And as every dendrite kisses each other with proteins that travel back to my neurons shouting she is your everything, I realize I want to hold you tight. My heart beat rises to the shouts blood travels faster endorphins knocking in my head all the chemicals dancing the same tune so is it chemistry?
And because none of this happens if I didn't know her, none of this happens with strangers and I realized this was love, an emotion made of chemistry and something we can't quite grasp or explain.

And no, I didn't write this :)
